Who is responsible for your data
Lynk is operated by Arjun Shende (sole proprietor), with a registered address at Office No. 712, Anandam Business Centre, Ganesh Peth, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440018, India.
Your company decides why its workspace data is collected and who may use it. Lynk processes that data to provide the service under its direct agreement with your company. Your workspace administrator is normally the first contact for access, correction, export, and workplace-use questions.
What Lynk stores
Lynk stores what your team puts into it: your name, work email, role and title; tasks and their history; messages; customer records; field visits and check-in/out times; order and collection values; performance records; and notifications. If your company connects email or WhatsApp, messages synced from those channels are stored too. We also store sign-in and security records, device push tokens if you enable notifications, and operational logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
We use workspace data to authenticate users, deliver and synchronize work, show the right records to authorized teammates, send requested notifications, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and support your company. AI-assisted features process the text needed to return the requested suggestion or answer. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Location during field work
If your organisation enables Field Assist, a field representative may choose to share their location. Nothing is recorded unless three things are true at once: your organisation has switched Field Assist on, the representative has switched sharing on for themselves, and they are checked in for the day. A manager cannot switch it on for someone else.
While all three are true, Lynk records latitude, longitude, accuracy and the time of each reading, roughly once a minute. Readings from a stationary device are discarded. Recording stops the moment the representative checks out or turns sharing off.
This is used only to show that day's route and the time spent at each stop, and is visible only to owners, admins and managers within the same organisation. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone outside your organisation.
Location readings are kept for 90 days and then permanently deleted. A representative may ask for theirs to be deleted sooner by contacting lynkworkos@gmail.com.
Offline data on your device
Lynk can keep drafts, cached workspace data, and queued field actions on your device so supported work can continue without a connection. Queued actions are sent when the device reconnects and are protected against duplicate replay. Pending work remains visible until it syncs, fails, or you dismiss it. Signing out clears account data after Lynk has handled any unsynced work.
Service providers and connected channels
- Replit, Inc. provides production hosting, the managed PostgreSQL database, and Object Storage in the publishing geography selected for this deployment.
- Expo / 650 Industries, Inc. provides the Expo Push Service when a user enables mobile notifications.
- Google LLC provides the Gmail mailbox used for support and privacy requests.
OpenAI API processing and Resend application email are optional capabilities but are not enabled in the current production environment. If your company connects Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, or Meta WhatsApp Business, the relevant provider also processes the messages your company chooses to synchronize. We give providers only the data needed for the service they perform.
How long active workspace data is kept
Company workspace data is kept while the workspace is active and for the period required by the company's agreement, security needs, or applicable law. The deletion rules below explain what happens when a person deletes their account or an owner deletes the entire workspace.
Delete your Lynk account
Any signed-in user can delete their own account in the app. Open your profile by tapping your own name at the top of the screen, choose Delete my account, and follow the confirmation steps. A final workspace owner must first transfer ownership to another member or choose to delete the entire workspace in the same flow.
What is deleted immediately
- The live database user record, including the person's name, email address, profile details, role, title, password hash, and sign-in version.
- Personal notifications, push-notification device tokens, password-reset records, and personal points or reward history tied directly to that user.
- Existing browser sessions and mobile sign-in tokens stop working immediately because the user record no longer exists.
What the company keeps
Work records owned by the company's workspace — including tasks, customer visits, orders, collections, messages, comments, and activity history — remain available to the company. The deleted person's stored user reference is removed, and authorship or activity views show Deleted user. Audit-history actor details are detached from the deleted account. Text or files the person entered as part of company work remain in those company records and may still contain details the person included in that content.
Deletion and backup-retention period
Personal account data is removed from the live database immediately. Deleted database data may remain in the managed provider's point-in-time recovery history for no more than 28 days; the plan-specific recovery window may be shorter. After that rolling recovery window expires, the deleted data is no longer recoverable from that database history. Nothing is intentionally retained beyond this period except where Indian law requires it.
If an entire workspace is deleted, its users, tasks, messages, customer and field records, integrations, and other workspace data are permanently removed from the live database. Deleted workspace data can remain only in the same rolling provider recovery history for no more than 28 days.
If you cannot sign in
Email lynkworkos@gmail.com and ask for account deletion. We will verify the request before acting on it.
Other choices and requests
Ask your workspace administrator to access, correct, or export company-controlled data, or use the Lynk support route if you cannot reach your administrator. We verify requests before acting on them.
Security and access
Lynk separates workspaces by organization, restricts actions by role, protects data in transit, and records security-relevant activity. No system is perfectly secure, so report suspected unauthorized access promptly through support and your workspace administrator.
Children
Lynk is workplace software and is not directed to children. Companies must not create accounts for anyone who cannot lawfully use the service in their jurisdiction.
